Klein Oak FFA Rodeo

Today I went to the KOFFA Rodeo. I competed in two events; the goat ribbon pull and stick horse barrels. I won a ribbon in the first event and got fourth in the second. I had so much fun.

Ren Fest

After my football game, mom and I went to the Texas Renaissance Fest.

This year I was a pirate, mom didn't dress up because it was to cold for any of her costumes.

We took some pictures, but most of the time were were shopping, playing games, watching shows or eating.

I hope that we can go back next weekend. But we will be at a dog show, so mom said we might go the last weekend.

Carving Pumpkins

Tonight after football practice mom and I went to get some pumpkins for halloween.

We drove all the way to the patch to pick our own, but they closed early. So on the way home we went to houston garden centers. They had pumpkins for $5.99, buy one get one free.

We got 4 and then went to the store and carved them instead of home. Mom said because more people would see them at the store than at home. But we will get a huge pumpkin at the store tonight to carve at home.

My Birthday Bash

Last night I celebrated my birthday by partying like a rock star at the Omni Hotel in the Galleria, I had my party in a banquet room, we had pizza, then we did a scavenger hunt, then we had cake, opened presents, went swimming & then stayed in my very own kids suite with some of my friends.

I had a total blast!!!

We won our homecoming football game. I got a touch down!!! I am so excited!!!

MCM Pep Rally

Tonight we had a pep rally for my football team. It was a lot of fun.

Zoo

Since today was a Monday and it wasn't raining, mom & I went to the zoo to see the dinosaur exhibit and the animals.

Had a ton of fun at the zoo, then we went and walked around Herman Park.

For dinner we stopped by the best pizza place in Houston. I got to make my pizza and then we went to football practice.

My Birthday Bash

This year I told my mom that I didn't want to have a big party some place instead I wanted to have a swimming party. Well that is a problem because we don't have a pool? So because my mom is such a great mom, she booked a wicked room at the Omni Resort. I am going to have my own Kids Sensory Suite.

It has everything, a huge TV, video games, games, books, toys and even a plush bathrobe that is just my size..... I'm so excited, my mom is the best.

Flag Football

I'm playing flag football and I like it a lot. Our team is the Montgomery County Mustangs and we are a very small team. We only have 5 players, so we have to play the whole game because there is no offence & defense. My number is 8, so look for me in the pictures that my mom took.

Today I scored my first touchdown. I was very excited and happy because the other team that we played was very good and had 20 players. WOW, they have two teams that rotate in and they are fast.

Helping?

I was so tired after football practice, dinner & taking a bath that I didn't use the laundry basked to get my dirty clothes ready for my mom to wash.

Instead I found a better use for the basket.

Camping

We just got back from 4 days of camping and floating the Comel River. It was so much fun. This time we had a bunch of friends go with us, my girlfriend Betsy, Madi & her mom and Super Dave.

Happy Birthday Annette

Today is my friend Annette's Birthday.

I brought her flowers and a card. We then went to the movies and saw Ramona and Beezus.

We all had a good time munching on popcorn & drinking some fizz.

Mom took me to see the corpse flower at the museum today, we also took the tour around to see what was new.

My 1st dog show as an exhibitor, was at the Reliant World Series of Dogs.

A Day @ Kemah Boardwalk

We spent the day in Kemah on the Boardwalk and had a fun time. My mom hadn't been to Kemah Boardwalk since she was pregnant with me. That was a long time ago....

We fed the all the different types of rays, ate dinner and I got to ride all the rides and my mom even went on the roller coaster, the swings and the the boat.

Flag Football

Today I started on playing flag football. My team practices on Monday, Tuesday & Thursday.

I am excited and can't wait to play a game.

4H State Dog Show

This past weekend I went with my mom to the 4H State Dog Show. She had 3 students that were showing. I got to go swimming and played with my friend David who is from the Galveston County 4H Club.

I also got to play with Marcus & Carson and Madi, Kate & her brother Kyle. Our hotel room was a huge suite. We swam in the hotel pool and then went to the campgrounds where Kate & Kyle were staying and went swimming.

My mom's students took home a lot of wins. Way to go Madi, Kate & James.

Independence Day, commonly known as the Fourth of July, is a federal holiday in the United States commemorating the adoption of the Declaration of Independence on July 4, 1776, declaring independence from the Kingdom of Great Britain.

We celebrated by watching fireworks.

Tooth #3

This afternoon I pulled my tooth out. It had been loose for more then a week and was really bothering me when I ate. So after having soup again for lunch I went into the bathroom and pulled it out.

Tonight I am leaving the Tooth Fairy a list of things that I would like in exchange for the teeth that I will be losing in the future. Mom says that I can only ask for things that will fit under my pillow, so here's my list:

Beach Bum

I guess every Monday I am going to be a beach bum. Went to Galveston today with my mom, spent the afternoon swimming and fishing. Had a blast, then ate dinner at Tortuga's.

Cutting Colin

Today I was put to work just like the other farm hands. I was put on the tractor and told to cut the infield pasture.

I don't know if the quality of work was good, but the quantity of work was good.

Fun in the sun!!!

Today mom & I went to the beach for the afternoon. I went swimming with my friend Roger, we caught some fish in his dads fishing net. I also stepped on a broken sea shell and got a little cut on the bottom of my foot.

Had fun and have a little tan now.
