WE WON

We played our last soccer game of the season this morning and WON. I scored 4 out of 5 of the goals. My mom was so proud of me and I was really happy too. I can't wait because my mom signed me up for two soccer camps this summer. So by next year I will be even better then I was this year.

I scored a total of 9 game goals this year.

Gymnastics & T&T Classes

Mom signed me up for Gymnastics classes and Trampoline & Tumbling classes since I am done with spring soccer.

I am also going to go to a Wednesday Gymnastics class. Tonight was my first T&T class. At first I didn't really like it, there is only one other boy in my class and I am the youngest. Everyone else is older then me by at least 5 years.

By the end of the class I knew it was going to be something that I was good at and that I wanted to do.

My mom said I would like it and I did.

Tonight I learned how to do a back walk over and how to jump and sit on the trampoline. So fun and cool.

Crawfish Fest

For the past 3 weekends, the Crawfish Fest has been going on in Old Town Spring.

Some friends came out each weekend and we got to ride on rides, play games and have fun.

Super Dave came in from College Station for 2 weekends and he made my mom drink to much.

Next year it is going to be all 4 weekends in April. I can't wait, because I like the spicy corn and potato's. Crawfish NOT so much.

Union Pacific Northern 844

This morning was a very rare occasion, the Northern U.P. 844 made a stop in Old Town Spring. The Northern U.P. 844 is the last steam locomotive built for Union Pacific Railroad.

This steam engine has run hundreds of thousands of miles as Union Pacific's ambassador of goodwill. It has made appearances at Expo '74 in Spokane, the 1981 opening of the California State Railroad Museum in Sacramento, the 1984 World's Fair in New Orleans and the 50th Anniversary Celebration of Los Angeles Union Station in 1989. It's nick named "Living Legend," the engine is and usually only does excursion runs for V.I.P.s

But I got to see it this morning, since we can't take a trip on this one we are going to take a trip on one next weekend. I am really excited and can't wait.
