Ennis RR Museum

On our way home from Dallas today mom & I stopped along the way for some lunch. We picked a little town to do as we always do on our road trips. This time we stopped in Ennis. Ennis is a small town just south of Dallas off of the high way.

We ate lunch at the Firehouse Grill. The salad was good and the burger was even better.

We also decided to go a block north to the Ennis Visitors Center to pick up some brochures for places to go and things to do, cause that is what mom and i do when we have days off.

Behind the Visitors Center is what mom calls a GEM. It was the Ennis RR Museum. We met a great man named Bill. He works there as a volunteer and is a man who knows his railroads. The admission was $2 for my mom and I was free. At first I didn't want to go, but then once Mr. Bill started to talk about all the different things in the museum I didnt want to leave. He even took us into the original depot to see what the train club was working on for Christmas. I got to sit in the breakman's chair and look out.

I'm very glad to stop here and will be back on another road trip. Here are more pictures for you to look at.

Went surfing again today. Spent the whole day in the water while mom and grandma went shopping.

Had a total blast!!!

I hope Santa will bring me my own surfboard this year for Christmas. I keep asking my mom to get me one but she said we don't live close enough to the beach.

Canopy Safari

Today we went on a zipline canopy tour and it was AWSOME. Our van got stuck on the way to the mountian because the road was washed out, so the guys had to get out and push the bush thru. Then when we got there I had to get fitted with my harness and gear.

After the 1st line, I was a pro. We got to zip line on 10 lines, rappel down 2 towers, swing on a tarzan swing and cross a suspension bridge.

Disneyland

This past weekend, mom and I went to Disneyland in California.

We met Kim there too. Kim's from Houston but was in California working so we got together and spent the weekend at Disneyland.

I got to play in the Leggo store and shop at Hurley. Kim and I ate cupcakes and candy apples for breakfast everyday. Kim told my mom that it was ok cause we are all kids this trip.

We got to go on the rides and watch different kids of shows. We even had breakfast with the "Goofy & Friends".

The best part was when Kim and I tricked my mom into going on The Hollywood Tower Hotel. The pictures are so funny. I thought she was going to spank me for tricking her so bad but she didn't.

Teeth Cleaning

Today I went to the dentist for my 6 month cleaning. I still have one extra tooth that will need to come out before I get my appliance put in, but that will have to be done only with surgery.

But the good news is that my mom bought me a Sonicare tooth brush so that I can take better care of my teeth and gums and to stop using hers.

Good clean teeth is always a good thing.

Our DFW Trip

On Sunday mom & I took a road trip to the D/FW area. We spent the night at a hotel with a pool and ordered pizza.

On Monday we went to the Ft Worth Zoo. It is a great zoo and we will be going back to visit soon so that we can visit the entire zoo.

After spending the day at the Zoo, we went to race go carts at Speed Zone. We had a total blast. When my mom was younger she use to spend a lot of time at a track in Chicago that a friend of hers owned. Boy did it show, she beat everyone on the track with her wicked driving skills. Way to go mom!

Happy St. Patrick's Day

Happy St. Patricks' Day..

The Chicago River is green... again

Colin \c(o)-lin\ as a boy's name is pronounced KOH-lin, KAH-lin. It is of Irish, Scottish and Gaelic origin, and the meaning of Colin is "young creature". Diminutive form of the medieval name Col or Colle, a short form of Nicholas (Greek) "people of victory". In Scotland, it has been used as an anglicized form of Cailean (Gaelic), popular among the Campbells and the MacKenzies.

R.I.P. Will

Rest in peace Crazy Eyed Will. You were a crazy and good companion to Colin for the past 7 years. Always watching out for him and taking over as his best friend after Blue died in 2008.
We will miss making fun of your wagging "nub" when we played fetch with you or when you would put your cold nose on us in the morning to wake us up.
We will miss you!

Today I got a pair of Vibram five finger shoes!
Mom is the coolest she got me a pair before they are even on the shelves or the internet to the general public.
Mom I love you. You are the best.

I got the Sprint style and mom got the Bikila LS. She has 5 pair and I have 1, but I don't care.

These are the coolest shoes ever and just in time for our trip to Florida and our week long cruise to the islands. They will come in handy hiking, kayaking, swimming and everything else we are booked to do.

Cruise #1 of 2011

Mom booked a 7 day cruise to the Dominican Republic, St. Thomas, Tortola and the Bahamas. We will be gone for 10 days because we are going to Florida too.

I am really excited because my grandma, grandpa and aunt Jamie are going to. So we are all going to be able to take this cruise all together.

There are a lot of things to do at each port and we are planning on doing some geocaching too.

I got to get new scuba fins and mask because I out grew the ones from last year. I also got to get some trek sandles to wear. Mom said that I might get a pair of shoes like hers if the kids kind come out soon.

Aunt Jamie & Johnny, Aunt Missy and Johnathan are going to come to visit in June for our Comal River and Camping trip. Betsy, Super Dave, Chris, Joban, Madi and Julie are all coming. This year we need 2 camp sites for everyone. It will be a lot of fun.

Snowboarding

This is what I waited all fall for.... to go snowboarding. While we were in The Dells we went to Cascade Mountian for some snowboarding and skiing. My mom and grandma did some skiing while I was boarding.

We had so much fun, but not too many pictures were taken because my mom wanted to go skiing, so she took a few pictures and then hit the hill to have some fun too.

Next year we are going to stay for 1 full week so we cango to the water park and do more skiing and snowboarding.
