Went to Galveston tonight for the Festival of Lights at Moody Gardens. We went through the Aquarium, which was very cool. I got to stand in a shark cage and even pet some star fish and coral. After that we walked around and visited all the stations of lights.
Then we grabbed some hot chocolate and headed to the rink to do some ice skating. After about 2 hours of skating on slush we went back for some more hot chocolate and grabbed a bag of kettle corn that we ate sitting around a huge bonfire. A lot of fun.
That night we stayed at a Jeff's beach house for the night because it was too late to drive home. We woke up early the next morning and mom made us breakfast. Jeff and I walked on the beach looking for shells while mom took a shower and got dressed. We just hung out for the rest day watching movies and playing games because it was mom's day off.
I love going to the beach house. I am such a waterbaby. Mom says that's a good thing. :)
